WHMCS already offers a domain checker with umlaut function, but unfortunately it does not work correctly for .de domains (if you use the standard Whois). Since the support is not aware of any error, it is not possible for you as WHMCS user to offer your customers umlaut domains with the TLD .de, because the Domainchecker shows every .de umlaut domain in your shopping cart as occupied.
With our WHOIS Proxy Script you can finally change this situation and offer your customers also umlaut domains with the domain extension .de. All you have to do is to copy our WHOIS script to your webspace and adjust the whoisserver file of WHMCS accordingly so that requests are forwarded to our script in the future. A corresponding manual is included.
The domain queries are only done by the script installed on your server and are only forwarded to DENIC, we do not receive any information like domain search or IP address from the script.
Each license may be operated on one dev and on one productive system. The license only allows the use for own domain queries.
