Woltlab Burning Board (short WBB) is a very popular forensoftware, which is especially used as support forum. Currently, however, you have the problem that the customer, who already has an account in WHMCS, must register once again in your forum. This is annoying for the customer and costs you possibly also support work if the customer expects an automatic Accounterstellung. With our new module, the Woltlab Burning Board API for WHMCS, we want to close this gap.
As soon as the new customer registers with you, a corresponding account is created in your support forum, the customer can immediately log in to the forum and either ask questions or become part of the community immediately.
To realize this, we have written our own API for the Woltlab Burning Board. The API itself is secured via user name, password and IP release accordingly, so the unauthorized can not drive a joke.
Since WHMCS does not store customer passwords but hashtes, so we can not read or reconstruct this, the module generates a random password for the Forenaccount independently. This password, as well as the user name, will be sent to the customer by e-mail after the creation of his account. For this purpose, the module uses its own e-mail template which can be customized to your requirements.
